Our wedding took place on Saturday 3rd May 1969 at Christ Church, Newburgh, Lancashire, within the Diocese of Liverpool. The service was conducted by The Reverend Douglas H Bell in the presence of 29 guests. The Matron of Honour was Irene Rathbone - the bridegroom’s sister and the bridesmaid was Lynn Bentham, his cousin. Best man was Clive Rathbone - husband of Irene.
